1. What is the idea?

Shoppers Guide is an Online 'Where to Buy' Guide. It is a valuable resource for the Shoppers. Retailers & other businesses use Locators, likeStore Locator / Dealer Locator / Restaurant Locator / Pharmacy Locator, to help drive customers and prospects to brick & mortar locations to obtain services, shop and buy. Shoppers Guide is aggregation of all such Locators, i.e. one stop resource / guide to Shoppers... It also promotes brand and increasing visibility for a business.

The idea is simple : To develop ShoppersGuide.in as a generic "One-Stop Resource" of various retailers & other businesses operating in India. For long-term viability of the idea and as business model : to sell 1,000,000 pixels as Pixcel Advertisement on the Home Page & to offer subscription of Pixel List of shoppersguide.in . The Pixel Advertiser may directly link their Locator available on their website. Also, such direct links will be available from Pixel List.

2. How did the idea come up?

India has largest number of store outlets in the world. Taking Retail (organised & unorgainsed) as a whole, the average is more than 9 outlets per 1,000 people.

3. Why should I buy pixels on shoppersguide.in?

You will have an image and a link to your site on the homepage of a site (i.e. shoppersguide.in) that could potentially be seen by millions of people over the coming years.

4. Why can't I buy one single pixel?

Because

You can't display anything meaningful in one pixel - nor click it easily - so visually, it would be pointless.
Businesses would pay to have a meaningful graphic on the homepage. Hence, the minimum buy is Rs. 10000 (INR) - a 10x10 block - for a calender year.
